With Alchemist on the turntables and D12’s Mr. Porter assisting Em’s stage duties, the emcee and Shady Records head invited a number of esteemed guests to the stage. Em’s onetime pupil, 50 Cent, took the stage to assist on “Patiently Waiting,” while the G-Unit honcho and Lloyd Banks remained on stage to perform several of their hits, including “In Da Club.” Em also brought out Drake for their portions of 2009 power-collaboration, “Forever.” According to Billboard however, no guest got a bigger crowd reaction that Em’s mentor, Dr. Dre, who took the stage to perform 1992’s “Nuthin’ But A G Thang” and 1999’s “Still Dre.” Eminem provided vocals for both songs’ Snoop Dogg verses. Detroit’s Trick-Trick also made an appearance.

Jay-Z’s set reportedly included longtime pupil Memphis Bleek, as well as an apperance from Young Jeezy. As a duo, both Jay-Z and Eminem performed their first collaboration, 2001’s “Renegade.” Props to hhdx for the coverage and press.
